Nadi Spencer
I WORK out of my colorful studio in the foothill town of Three Rivers, California, just below Sequoia National Park. I have worked as a professional artist for over 40 years, in watercolor and acrylic, from very tiny paintings to large murals.
I LOVE researching projects, getting the details accurate, fine-tuning facts. That's what makes painting murals so much fun (not scaffolding!). In addition to historical murals, I also paint murals in homes.
KIDS ROOMS! Murals allow children to express their own personal style, stretching their imagination. I am willing to paint almost any fantasy scene from animals, ocean scenes, whimsical landscapes, dinosaurs - to jungle worlds and outer space. I like to paint paths and doors to other worlds, allowing the child to complete the story while daydreaming.
If you are looking for an artist to paint a mural in Tulare County, please contact me.

Down Memory Lane
I AM REVISITING my murals dating back to 1997, when the journey began. It's time to organize all the photos- many pre-digital, and it's reminding me how much I love my digital camera (and my computer). Each of the murals is shown below if you scroll down past the posts. I will, eventually, have a post about each one, with all the in-progress snapshots. I'm starting at the beginning with the Cattle Drive mural I did in 1997. Just click on the mural you would like to read about and feel free to ask questions in the comment section.

FINALLY, in April of 2011 I was able to get the Juvenile Detention Center in Visalia to schedule a time that I could paint the mural. They chose Cow Over the Moon.

HHSA Room #16, Cowboy Kids Painting
In addition to working 12 hours every day to finish these murals, I also painted 2 canvases for 2 other rooms. Don't ask me when I did them, because I don't remember. But I got them done. I also offered to paint a free mural at the Juvenile Detention Facility as a thank you- to be painted at a future date.

HHSA Mural #15, Woodland Babies B
LAST MURAL. 3 days to finish, and then S L E E P. This has been the most fun I've ever had painting murals. And we hope these rooms will make these children's lives a little more joyous. It did mine.
