HHSA Room #16, Cowboy Kids Painting

In addition to working 12 hours every day to finish these murals, I also painted 2 canvases for 2 other rooms. Don't ask me when I did them, because I don't remember. But I got them done. I also offered to paint a free mural at the Juvenile Detention Facility as a thank you- to be painted at a future date.

HHSA Mural #14 Woodland Babies A

THESE ROOMS are for visits with babies. And many are born addicted to drugs. Too much vibration in colors might be disturbing to delicate eyes, so we opted for the lavender base again- a little gentler. We have 5 days to finish on schedule. Quick Fabi – paint faster!

I design in Photoshop.

Fabi pushes her comfort zone with painting detail.

HHSA Mural #13, Sea

A different sea scene. One wall, should be a piece of cake. I might mention that by now, fabi and I are getting a little tired, working around the clock. But we are right on schedule (a must in my world) and still having fun.
I design in Photoshop.

Getting silly.

Fabi spilled.

Oops – so did I.

Fabi takes pictures.

HHSA Mural #12, Rain Forest

ONE MORE room in the Tulare office. This one will be a rain forest with water and animals. A group of employees and parents had already painted a forest in this room, and they weren't happy that we were going to paint over it. But HHSA wanted all the rooms to match, and would be adding all new matching sofas and rugs as well.

I build design in Photoshop.

We painted 2 of the walls green.

Before...

...and after.

HHSA Mural #11 Arctic

FABI AND I are ready for a little change. Enough orange already! So since this mural has snow and ice and lots of white animals as well, I decided to switch the base color to lavender. Ahh...

I design in Photoshop.

These colors make me so happy. In fact, I painted my kitchen like this AND used this photo for my mural blog banner head.

Fabi prepares wall while I am still in the other room painting the castle mural.

Then we paint the black lines, I go back to the castle mural, Fabi fills in white.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these colors.
